The utility is simple. The palm shuffles a pack of 52 cards, cuts the cards into a number of piles (2 piles in level 1, increasing to 6 piles in level 5).
For each attempt, a card is turned over and a question is asked: find a card greater then, smaller then or equal to the card that was turned over.
You choose the pile where you think (or know if you are a good clairvoyant) where the correct card is.
As play continues, the palm calculates your divining ability. The play finishes when all the piles are empty.
